Scouts: Explorers on a mission
The scouts are the beating heart of the DEFI League and our most important unit on the ground. As a scout, you turn your next walk around town or trip to school into a real mission, because you are constantly on the lookout for hidden defibrillators. As soon as you spot a device in a bank, supermarket, or sports hall, you pull out your smartphone, take a photo, and upload it to this website. Your efforts will eliminate the blind spots on our map and ensure that no one has to waste valuable time searching in an emergency. Each find earns you valuable points that will move you up the leaderboard and give you the chance to win great prizes.
Guardians: The guardians of quality
As a Guardian, you will move to the DEFI League’s engine room and take on the responsible task of ensuring the quality of our database. You are the authority who carefully examines every submission from the scouts before it officially appears on the map. You check whether the photos are meaningful, the GPS data is accurate, and the location described really makes sense for first responders. You are the shield against incorrect data and ensure that our map is 100% reliable when it comes to human lives. Points are only finally awarded with your confirmation, making you the indispensable interface between the search and the actual rescue.
Builder & Crafter: The architects of the vision
Behind the entire technological infrastructure and concept of the DEFI League are the builders and crafters who brought the project to life, from the first line of code to the finished design. We are the strategists, developers, and creative minds who pull the strings behind the scenes, optimize the app, and create the framework for the competition. Our job is to coordinate cooperation with cities and partners, organize prizes for the leaderboard, and carry the vision of a seamless DEFI map to ever new regions. We build the playing field where Scouts and Guardians can surpass themselves, and work every day to make the world a little safer.
